ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: MICHAEL S. MALONEY, SPECIAL AGENT (RET.)
Michael Maloney is a United States Marine Corps veteran who retired with over 25 years experience in Federal and local law enforcement. Starting as a Deputy Sheriff in Tom Green County (TX), continuing with the Bellingham (WA) Police Department, before becoming a Special Agent in the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), Michael finished his career as a Senior Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) at Glynco, GA. He has a Master of Forensic Science Degree from George Washington University, and served a Fellowship in Forensic Medicine at the Armed Forces Institute of Forensic Pathology. Michael is a recognized expert in death scene investigations, crime scene investigation, shooting incident reconstruction, bloodstain pattern analysis and forensic reconstruction. He has taught or worked cases throughout the United States and around the world. His expert testimony, reports and analysis have been used in a wide variety of local, state and federal judicial venues, including the International War Crimes Tribunal at The Hague. Michael is the author of the Death Scene Investigation Procedural Guide and the Crime Scene Investigation Procedural Guide from CRC Press.
